Established in 2013, FeelHappyFood is proud to serve high-quality, healthy meals to schools along the Costa del Sol. We are firm believers in using fresh and wholesome ingredients to stimulate the growing minds of young children. Eating habits are instilled early on, and we want to make sure that kids develop good eating habits.
We prepare all our sauces, marinades and dips in the FeelHappyFood kitchen by using traditional cooking methods and simple recipes.
HOW IT WORKS
All our thoughtfully created menus are reviewed and approved by our qualified child nutrition professionals with guidelines set by the Spanish food association. We carefully analyse all ingredients to avoid manufactured / processed foods, preservatives, artificial colours and sweeteners. Our goal is to  offer recipes low in sodium, sugar and saturated fat but still filling and full of nutrients.

We Support Our Community

Did you know that 95% of our FeelHappyFood budget is spent on food grown locally from/or ecological farmers and suppliers? We have partnerships with farms in Coin, Monda and Alhaurin which helps stimulate the local economy and generates jobs. We firmly believe in giving back to our community!

NUTRITION

Spaniards spend less on fast food than other Europeans, fact! While the Mediterranean diet found here in Spain is rich in olive oil, fish and meat, fresh vegetables are often absent from meals.
We are privileged to live in Andalucía which produces more organic food than any other region in Spain. Ecological food is becoming more widely available, and we have developed a stable working relationship with our local farmers and suppliers.FeelHappyFood aims to improve the eating habits of children on the Costa del Sol by providing hot meals cooked from scratch that they actually enjoy.

SIMPLE, HEALTHY CATERING

Kids spend a large part of their week at school where they consume up to 50% of their daily calories. FeelHappyFood wants to ensure children learn that nutritious food tastes good, and also inspire parents that it’s essential to fuel young bodies for them to reach their full potential. We want students to be happier and perform better in school and understand the importance of healthy choices.

  • Few families eat together daily at the table, and many children eat in front of the television every evening
  • Not all children eat breakfast every morning, and this decreases with age
  • Many children eat sweets at least 3 times a week
  • Almost half of children have soft drinks available at home
  • More than a third of kids eat crisps or other salty and high in fat snacks at least 3 times a week
